In 2007, Ebenezer UCC decided to start our Preschool Program. The program focus of Ebenezer UCC Preschool is to strive to:

• Promote positive self-esteem and ability to learn.
• Encourage intellectual development through teacher-driven and child-driven activities.
• Encourage self expression through art, music, and language experiences.
• Promote positive social skills through communication and self expression.
• Encourage autonomy (independence).
• Provide an environment that allows a child to mimic good manners, kindness, and cooperation among their peers.
• Expose children to a variety of social environments and situations.
• Prepare them for formal educational experiences, i.e. Kindergarten.
• Use our identity as the church of Jesus Christ to support and enhance these goals with song, Bible stories, and Bible lessons.

With the enthusiasm and energy of our Preschool committee and teachers, our program has grown exponentially. Reaching out to those families with small children and bringing them into our church family is a rewarding project. The smiles and laughs of those young children just multiply the smiles and laughs of our members.
